The Simaisma and Al Daayen Youth Center launched a variety of summer programs and activities of 2023, which includes about 30 various sports, cultural and awareness events and activities, and will continue until mid-August, in cooperation with the Qatar Sports for All Federation and a number of agencies such as the Cybercrime Department of the Ministry of Interior and the Qatar Voluntary Center And the Lusail Sports Club, under the auspices of the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth, based on the Ministry’s vision to meet the needs of young people, enhance their skills and discover their talents. The summer activity includes several programs, including: the Futsal Championship for the northern centers and the Volleyball Challenge Championship with the participation of a number of parties, including the Youth Department of Al-Wakrah Club, the “With the Quarter” football program for Qatari youth over 18 years, and a number of foreign trips and various recreational activities.

Mr. Nawaf Al Mudhahka, CEO of Simaisma and Al Daayen Youth Center, said in a statement on this occasion: “The activities target different age groups, and we are keen on diversifying sports programs and activities, awareness lectures, sports tournaments, and other programs that meet the aspirations of young people, explaining that the summer vacation is an investment of time and energy in developing personal, social and practical skills and experiences, it is also an opportunity for learning and development through reading, training courses, volunteering and practicing sports, and youth centers provide the appropriate environment for this purpose.

Al-Mudhahka stressed that summer activities are very important, as they represent an opportunity to enjoy free time, get rid of the daily routine and the pressures resulting from the atmosphere of tests, as well as an opportunity to develop skills and promote physical and psychological health in activities such as swimming, cycling and competitions. He also stated that the activities aim to expand knowledge and culture by visiting museums, exhibitions, and various natural parks, as our summer activities also constitute an opportunity to make new friends and enhance social relations, and this helps a sense of belonging and communication with others.
