The Alreyada Girls Center and the Qatar Red Crescent Society come together in humanitarian cooperation. Under the representation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Leadership Center for Girls, in cooperation with the Qatar Red Crescent Society, arranged a series of activities and events, intended for developing communities through charitable institutions and voluntary organizations of cultural, advocacy and service programs. The first cooperation included a workshop entitled “First Aid” and represented the second cooperation in an initiative entitled “Hand in Hand”, where the initiative included several phases represented in the purchase and collection of various school tools, the preparation of canvas bags and placing the school supplies with the center’s associates. There were dividers made with motivational phrases on them related to the beginning of the second semester, and canvas bags containing school supplies, all of which were provided by the center’s members. The initiative targeted 30 low-income female students in schools, and the Qatar Red Crescent Society was contacted to distribute school supplies.
