The Organizing Committee of the Al Thumama Ramadan Tournament will hold a press conference next Sunday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Sports and Youth in Lusail to unveil details of the third edition of the tournament. The conference will be attended by Hassan bin Ali Al Ishaq, Municipal Council Member and Chairman of the Tournament’s Organizing Committee; Yousef bin Ali Abdulnour, Tournament Director; and Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation.

The Al Thumama Tournament is considered one of the competitions that has gained notable recognition during its first two editions, as it primarily targets specific age groups, particularly children aged 10 to 13 years. The tournament is open to participants from all regions of the State of Qatar.

One of the tournament’s key objectives is to focus on private, public, and international schools, with particular attention given to English-speaking schools, which have shown the presence of promising talents and skilled players worthy of discovery. The tournament serves as an open invitation to clubs and coaches to scout and identify young talents.

It is worth noting that Al Janoubia team claimed the title in the first edition, while Al Adaam team were crowned champions of the previous edition.
