The Ministry of Sports and Youth, represented by the “Fazaat Shabab AlAdaam” team, organized a blood donation campaign under the slogan “Youth Give Life… One Drop Makes a Difference”, in cooperation with the Blood Donation Center of Hamad Medical Corporation, to mark Arab Youth Day. The campaign witnessed broad participation from ministry employees, young people, and volunteers.

The campaign attracted a strong turnout of donors who were keen to take part in this humanitarian initiative, reaffirming their commitment to the values of giving and solidarity. Their participation contributes to supporting the healthcare sector and strengthening the strategic blood reserve, helping to save the lives of patients in need of blood transfusions.

On this occasion, Ms. Wadha Al Wasmi, Head of the “Fazaat Shabab AlAdaam” team, stated that the campaign forms part of a series of community initiatives implemented by the team to promote a culture of humanitarian work and volunteerism among young people. She noted that the initiative encourages youth to actively participate in projects that serve the community and create a positive and lasting impact.

She added that the campaign reflects the Ministry of Sports and Youth’s vision of empowering young people and providing them with opportunities to become active partners in serving the community and contributing to the country’s development.

For his part, Mr. Ahmed Al Ansari, Head of the Youth Work Organization and Development Section, emphasized that the Ministry places great importance on supporting meaningful youth initiatives. He noted that the Ministry is committed to encouraging young people to develop and implement community and humanitarian initiatives that strengthen the values of social responsibility, promote volunteerism, and contribute to serving society.

The Ministry of Sports and Youth affirmed that celebrating Arab Youth Day goes beyond organizing commemorative events. It also includes implementing impactful initiatives that demonstrate the vital role of young people in serving their communities and highlight their ability to create sustainable positive change through active participation in humanitarian and national initiatives.

The Ministry also expressed its appreciation for the constructive cooperation with the Blood Donation Center of Hamad Medical Corporation and thanked all participants and supporters of the campaign. It reaffirmed its commitment to launching further initiatives that encourage youth participation in community service and instill the values of initiative, generosity, and humanitarian work, in line with its mission of preparing an aware and responsible generation that actively contributes to sustainable development.
