The Ministry of Sports and Youth has launched the “Shabab Ladam” mobile application during a press conference held at Lusail Multipurpose Hall. The event was attended by officials from the ministry, youth leaders, and representatives of youth centers and organizations.

The app is a pioneering initiative by the Youth Centers and Entities Section, in collaboration with relevant departments of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. It aims to streamline communication between youth and youth institutions through a comprehensive digital platform that provides access to events, programs, services, and youth-related news in Qatar.

During the event, Mr. Abdullah Al-Kathiri, the project manager, presented an overview of the app’s features, highlighting how it enables users to browse activities and programs, interact with media content, explore youth institutions, and benefit from various services. The app also supports direct communication with the concerned entities.

Mr. Mubarak Jaheen Al-Dosari, Head of the Youth Centers and Entities Section, emphasized the importance of the app in empowering youth and enhancing coordination among youth centers, noting that “Shabab Ladam” is a strategic step toward greater engagement and collaboration in the youth sector.

Mr. Fawaz Abdullah Al-Musaifri, Director of the Youth Affairs Department, stressed that the launch of the app aligns with the Ministry’s direction toward embracing technology as a key driver for developing youth work. He stated that it supports the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the National Youth Policy, and that digital transformation has become essential to improving the quality and accessibility of services provided to youth.

The Ministry calls on all youth and those involved in youth work to download the “Shabab Ladam” app from app stores and help promote it, so it becomes an effective platform for youth empowerment and participation in national development.
