The Ministry of Sports and Youth team was crowned champions of the Ministries and Government Entities Futsal Championship 2025, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, a partner of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The final match was hosted at Lusail Multipurpose Hall two days ago, featuring the championship final and the third-place match, in the presence of:
H.E. Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed bin Ghanem Al-Thani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs;
Mr. Abdulrahman Abdullah Hassan Al-Malki, Director of Assets and Projects Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth;
Mr. Abdulrahman bin Musallam Al-Dosari, President of the QSFA and Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of QSFA.

During the closing ceremony, the top three teams were awarded in the presence of large crowds of employees from the participating ministries and entities, who supported their teams until the final minutes. The Ministry of Sports and Youth snatched the title after defeating the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs 3-1 in the final, placing “Awqaf” second, while the Ministry of Municipality won the third place.

Mr. Abdulrahman bin Musallam Al-Dosari, President of QSFA, welcomed the distinguished guests and spectators attending the final round, expressing his pride in the success of this year’s championship. He highlighted that the Ministries and Government Entities Championship has become one of the key annual events that attracts wide participation from government employees, offering an exemplary model that combines sportsmanship, social engagement, and positive interaction among employees from various entities.

He praised the vibrant atmosphere that marked the final night, which created an exceptional sporting occasion, and congratulated the Ministry of Sports and Youth team on their well-deserved title. Al-Dosari reaffirmed the Federation’s commitment—in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth—to promoting a culture of sports in the workplace and encouraging employees to adopt physical activity as part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of QSFA, also expressed his pride in the organizational and technical success of the month-long championship, which featured the participation of 10 teams representing various ministries, authorities, and government institutions. He highlighted the strong levels of competition that added excitement to the matches, praising the enthusiastic attendance from government employees and the celebratory atmosphere throughout the tournament, particularly on the final night.

He emphasized that the Federation, through this championship and other events under the Corporate Sports Program, is committed to embedding sports as an essential element of the work environment and supporting football enthusiasts across government entities. The Ministries and Government Entities Championship, he added, is not merely a sporting competition, but a message aimed at strengthening teamwork and enhancing the work environment through sports and physical activity—aligned with the goals and strategic direction of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
