His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth and President of the Gulf Football Federation, praised the performance of Qatari referees during the 26th Gulf Cup held in Kuwait.

During his meeting with the Qatari refereeing team that officiated the tournament’s final, His Excellency emphasized the importance of all referees continuing to represent Qatar in the best possible manner at regional and international events.

The Qatari refereeing team, consisting of Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Jassim, Mr. Saud Ahmed, Mr. Talib Salem, and Mr. Khamis Al-Marri, officiated the final match of Gulf Cup 26 between Oman and Bahrain.

The meeting was attended by Hani Talib Ballan, Chairman of the Referees Committee of the Qatar Football Association and Chairman of the Referees Committee of the Gulf Football Federation.
