The Qatar Sports for All Federation, under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, organized the second round of the “Al-Azeem Initiative” on Tuesday morning in Lusail Sports Hall, dedicated to the youth. The activities included a variety of sports and entertainment starting at 9:00 am and continuing until 1:00 pm, with the participation of 35 children.
The activities began in an atmosphere of vitality and fun and included physical fitness, warm-up exercises, and tug-of-war competitions. The competitions also included football, in which children were trained in passing a ball, shooting, and dribbling skills under the supervision of the federation’s coaches. Additionally, the event witnessed the organization of many other recreational activities, including a recycling activity presented by trainer Aisha Al-Maadeed, and the activity of the initiatives, which in turn attracted the children’s interest and won their approval. The initiatives introduced by the participants varied, including: “You Are Like Us- The Joy of Giving.” The Sport for All organized the first round of the “Al-Azeem Initiative” activities last week, which witnessed a great turnout and interaction.
It is worth noting that tomorrow, Wednesday, the 16th of this month, will hold a friendly discussion to present children’s projects in front of parents and the arbitration committee at 4:00 pm in the Lusail Sports Hall. In terms of other sports activities, the training sessions of the Summer Swimming Training Program, the August Tour- in Al-Arabi, Al-Wakrah, and Al-Khor- organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, will continue until the 24th of August for children and youngsters from 8 to 14 years old.
