Doha – Lusail International Circuit is set to host a night of excitement and endurance as the third edition of the global half marathon One Run For All kicks off this evening, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in cooperation with Ajor Sports Events.

The event will feature a record participation of around 3,000 runners and runners-up, representing 95 nationalities, including men, women, children, and seniors, all united by their passion for running. The race begins at 9:00 p.m., taking place simultaneously with multiple countries worldwide, including Russia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, China, Brazil, Serbia, Cameroon, and Armenia, alongside more than 110 countries globally. In total, around 200,000 runners worldwide are expected to participate.

The event offers opportunities for both amateur and non-professional runners in Qatar, making it an inclusive community sporting experience for all age groups. Alongside the races, a series of activities will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the fan zone, with the full program concluding at 10:00 p.m. at Lusail Circuit.

Mr. Abdullah Al Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, described the event as one of the most prominent global running initiatives, emphasizing that this year’s edition is expected to deliver exceptional competition and atmosphere given its large and diverse participation.

He added that the race includes six different distances designed to suit all fitness levels and age groups, ranging from 400 meters for children, 1 km, 2.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, and the half marathon distance of 21.1 km, ensuring wide community inclusion, including families, children, and people of determination.

Al Dosari also highlighted that Doha was the first Arab capital among 16 global cities to host this event, underscoring its status as a leading international sports destination. He noted that the event goes beyond competition, carrying a social and humanitarian message aimed at promoting sport as a lifestyle, supporting physical and mental health, and encouraging inclusion across all segments of society.

Last year’s edition in Qatar saw participation from more than 3,240 runners representing 95 nationalities, alongside simultaneous races across 28 countries and 96 Russian cities, bringing total global participation to over 250,000 runners and attracting an audience of around 2 million people across 16 countries.
