The summer camp at Qatar Sports Club has officially begun as part of the club’s youth program for the 2025 season. The initiative is organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and is supervised by the Youth Affairs Department.
Mr. Mohammed Abdulrahim Al-Haydos, Head of the Youth Department, confirmed that the camp launched with the participation of a selected group of promising youth talents. This initiative comes within the framework of nurturing, developing, and empowering Qatari youth, and aligns with national efforts to invest in their skills and capabilities. It also supports their personal growth and strengthens their national identity, preparing them to become future leaders in sports and society.
He added that the summer camp contributes to the Ministry’s vision of building an active and responsible generation, capable of leading the future of Qatar’s youth and sports sectors with professionalism and integrity.
The camp is held weekly from Sunday to Thursday at Saheem bin Hamad Hall (located behind Burger King), running from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. It includes a diverse range of recreational, cultural, educational, and awareness activities, as well as workshops and fitness programs.
Registration is still open for male participants in the following age groups: 10–14 years (junior group), 15–18 years (main group), and 19–39 years (extended group). The registration fee is 100 Qatari riyals, payable electronically. For further inquiries, contact is available via WhatsApp.
The program also features competitions, self-defense training, and physical fitness sessions, alongside lectures and activities designed to build confidence and promote healthy lifestyles. Participants are required to adhere to camp guidelines, including respectful conduct, attendance commitments, proper uniform, and compliance with the instructions of supervisors during both regular and field activities. The center is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items during the program.
