Organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, under the representation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and in partnership with the Qatar Chess Federation, the competitions of the Sports for All Open Ches Championship will be launched tomorrow, Friday, at 4:30 pm with the participation of more than 150 players from all age groups. This edition continues the success witnessed by the previous editions of the chess tournaments and is the result of the cooperation between the Qatar Sports for All Federation and the Qatar Chess Federation, where chess is one of the mind games that have great importance. It is worth mentioning that the tournament is held on a quick chess system “10 minutes + five more seconds for each move.”Players will be distributed into four groups, where the final competitions will be held to specify the winners of the advanced centers and honor them with cash prizes to motivate them and develop the base of participation in sports activities for all segments of society.
