The Scientific Research Club at Qatar University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, organized a training program on data analysis and research methodologies held at the Ibn Khaldun Hall at Qatar University. The event was attended by His Excellency Engineer Yasser bin Abdullah Al-Jammal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Dr. Omar Al-Ansari, President of Qatar University, senior faculty members, and students of Qatar University.

During the program’s opening ceremony, three winners of the research marathon organized by the Scientific Research Club, supported by the Ministry of Sports and Youth, were honored, along with recognition of the program’s sponsor, the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

A panel discussion was held on the sidelines of the opening titled “The Importance of Scientific Research.” The discussion featured Dr. Khalid Al-Khanji, former Chair of the Planning and Development Committee at Qatar University, and Dr. Abu Bakr Abdullah, Director of the Research Excellence Center. The session was moderated by Abdulrahman Al-Sayed, Chairperson of the Representative Council at Qatar University.

The discussion focused on the importance of supporting scientific research and fostering a passion for research among youth due to its significance across various fields.
