Al Thumama’s Al Furjan fields will host four matches today as part of the first round of the 12th Al Furjan Football Championship, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation under the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The matches will begin at 5:15 PM with a game between the teams of Onaiza and Umm Salal, followed by a 6:00 PM match between Al Mamoura and Al Owaineh. The third match will feature Al Sakhama against Al Thumama, and the night’s events will conclude at 7:00 PM with a match between Al Hilal and Al Maida.

The tournament’s opening matches took place last Monday, where Al Dhaayen defeated Haloul 1-0. Khalifa City swept Ain Khaled with a 4-0 victory, while Al Wakrah overcame Al Dhaayen2 with a 1-0 win. The final match of the opening day ended in a goalless draw between Lebaib and Al Nasr.

The 12th edition of the championship, held at the Al Furjan fields in Al Thumama, features 16 teams divided into four groups. Group 1 includes Haloul, Al Dhaayen, Al Hilal, and Al Maida. Group 2 consists of Khalifa City, Ain Khaled, Onaiza, and Umm Salal. Group 3 includes Al Wakrah, Al Dhaayen2, Al Sakhama, and Al Thumama. Group 4 features Laabib, Al Nasr, Al Mamoura, and Al Owaineh.
