The twelfth edition of the Al Furjan Fields Tournament, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, will resume tomorrow in Al Thumama with four matches in the second round. The first match will kick off at 5:15 p.m. between Al Hilal and Haloul, followed by the second game at 6 p.m., pitting Unaizah against Khalifa City. The third match will see Al Sakhama face Al Wakrah, and the day’s action will conclude with a 7 p.m. match between Al Mamoura and La’bib.

The first round concluded with Al Mamoura defeating Al Nasr 2-0, Al Hilal sweeping Al Dhaaen 4-1, a goalless draw between Ain Khaled and Unaizah, and Al Sakhama edging out Al Dhaaen 2 with a 3-2 victory.

The tournament features intense competition among sixteen teams. Al Maida tops Group A with 6 points, followed by Al Hilal and Al Dhaaen, each with 3 points, while Haloul is at the bottom with no points. In Group B, Khalifa City leads with 4 points, tied with Unaizah, while Umm Salal and Ain Khaled each have 1 point. Al Sakhama leads Group C with 6 points, followed by Al Dhaaen 2 and Al Wakrah, both with 3 points, and Al Thumama with no points. Al Ouwayna leads Group D with 6 points, followed by Al Mamoura with 3 points, while La’bib and Al Nasr each have 1 point.

Abdullah Al-Dosari, Head of Activities and Events at the Sports for All Federation, emphasized that the Al Furjan Fields Tournament is continuously developing in terms of both technical and organizational standards. Each edition sees participation from several teams composed of young Qataris and residents, representing various regions.

The tournament provides young people with the opportunity to showcase their skills, develop their abilities, and engage actively in the sports and community activities calendar.
