Barzan Youth Center has launched the “Inspiring Goodness” initiative as part of its 2026 Summer Camp programs and activities, in a step aimed at instilling the values of giving and volunteerism among youth and promoting a culture of social solidarity through humanitarian initiatives led by youth themselves, helping nurture a generation that recognizes its responsibility toward the community.

The youth initiative, launched by a group of youth participating in Barzan Youth Center’s summer activities, seeks to empower youth to make an active contribution to serving the community by designing, leading and implementing humanitarian and volunteer initiatives. These include distributing cold drinking water in public places and collecting, sorting and distributing clothes and toys to needy families, thereby promoting a culture of volunteer work, developing leadership skills, and reinforcing the values of social responsibility and giving among younger generations.

In a press statement, Barzan Youth Center affirmed that engaging Qatari youth in planning and implementing youth initiatives represents one of the key pillars of the Center’s programs and falls within the Active Youth Participation pillar of the Qatar National Youth Policy, which seeks to empower youth, provide them with opportunities to participate in developing community initiatives, and strengthen their role as active partners in achieving sustainable development and serving society.

The Center added that the “Inspiring Goodness” initiative embodies this approach by giving youth genuine opportunities for innovation and fieldwork, thereby contributing to the development of their leadership skills, fostering the spirit of initiative and teamwork, enhancing their sense of national and humanitarian responsibility, and reinforcing the values of positive citizenship.

The “Inspiring Goodness” initiative forms part of a package of educational and volunteer programs and activities implemented by Barzan Youth Center during the summer camp, aimed at developing youth’s capabilities and investing their potential in high-impact initiatives that benefit society, in line with the Center’s vision of preparing proactive, influential youth capable of contributing to the nation’s development journey and serving the homeland.
