Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and Skill 7, affiliated with Qatar Development Bank, the Young Entrepreneurs Club organized the “Ibrah wa Kheit” (Needle and Thread) forum on Monday evening at the Expo Building in Al Bidda Park at 6 PM, with the participation of a select group of entrepreneurs, designers, and those interested in fashion and creative entrepreneurship.

The forum aimed to provide an interactive dialogue platform highlighting the key challenges and opportunities in the creative sector, encouraging youth to transform their passion for design into sustainable entrepreneurial projects that strengthen the local creative economy.

The program included a panel discussion featuring prominent figures in design and entrepreneurship, addressing the future of fashion in Qatar and the importance of cultural identity in building local and international brands with a contemporary spirit. The session also showcased inspiring success stories from leaders in the sector.

Dr. Ibrahim bin Khaled Al Sulaiti, Head of Entrepreneurship at Qatar Development Bank, stated that the “Ibrah wa Kheit” forum embodies the club’s vision to support and empower young national talents, especially in creative sectors which have become a significant contributor to the country’s knowledge economy. He added that the forum is not just a temporary event but a sustainable space for dialogue and knowledge exchange among designers and entrepreneurship enthusiasts, helping turn individual passion into tangible and impactful success stories in society.

Al Sulaiti explained that the Young Entrepreneurs Club seeks through such initiatives to create a nurturing environment for Qatari talents and open cooperation channels between the public and private sectors to enhance the innovation ecosystem. He expressed pride in the effective partnerships behind the success of this event, extending thanks to all supporting and sponsoring entities, foremost among them the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Ministry of Culture, Skill 7 (Qatar Development Bank), Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Museums, alongside several local and international brands and companies that contributed to the success of the forum.
