His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, praised the efforts made by the friendly Italian Republic to ensure the success of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

In a post on His Highness’s official account on the X platform, the Amir said: “I was pleased to be in Milan to attend the opening of the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. I wish this championship every success, and I commend the efforts made by our Italian friends to make this event a success.”
