His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Culture and Sports, drew the curtain on the Juman Ramadan Festival on Saturday, March 30th, with words of support and encouragement for the business pioneers participating in the festival, as well as for the collaborating entities. He also praised the efforts exerted by the Dana Center for Girls. During the tour in Aslat Garden, he commended his anticipation for similar programs in the future, emphasizing his full support for youth centers.

The tour was attended by Mr. Mohammed Abdullah, Head of the Gardens Department at the Doha Municipality, Ms. Wadha Al Jaber, Director of the Dana Center for Girls, Ms. Hessa Al Khuyaiter, Head of the Relations and Social Communication Department at the center, and a number of participants and staff members of the Dana Center. It’s worth noting that this Ramadan festival started since mid-March and continued until April 5th, with active participation from Qatari business pioneers and great turnout from citizens and visitors who enjoyed the festival’s activities.

Ms. Wadha Al Jaber, Director of the Dana Center, praised the participation and honor of His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Culture and Sports, at the closing ceremony of this festival. She also praised the efforts and cooperation of the Municipality for facilitating and ensuring the success of the Dana Ramadan Festival (Juman).

Words for Business Pioneers

In her speech on this occasion, Ms. Sheikha Al Kubaisi, Ambassador for Peace and Good Intentions at the Arab and European Center for Human Rights and International Law, praised the idea of the festival and shared highlights from her experience in the field of business pioneers, describing it as successful.

She emphasized that one of the reasons for the success of her experience is her belief in the goals she still believes in and adopts.

She said: She participated in many Arab conferences and became a member of several international organizations. Her journey was not easy, but with the strength of her will, she managed to overcome all the difficult social circumstances and challenges that hindered her progress in previous stages.

It’s noteworthy that the closing program of the festival also included many diverse segments such as the Palestinian Children’s Segment and the Heritage Fashion Show segment, which was overseen by the fashion show committee consisting of Dr. Haya Al Muadadi, Ms. Sheikha Al Muqabali, and Ms. Latifa Dasmal Al Kuwari.

Dr. Haya Al Muadadi affirmed that the purpose of the fashion show presented by the girls is to express cultural diversity and preserve heritage. She added that the Dana Center succeeded in choosing the appropriate time and place to organize this festival.

She said, “As business pioneers, we must support centers that serve business pioneers like us.”
