As a part of the ongoing follow-up of the Arab Cup championship and in line with efforts to strengthen communication with the participating national teams, His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth, paid a visit to the Egyptian and Kuwaiti delegations. During the visit, His Excellency met with the heads of the two delegations and members of the administrative and technical staff, welcoming them to the State of Qatar and affirming his keenness to maintain communication with all teams in order to promote a spirit of brotherhood and sporting cooperation.

His Excellency praised the distinctive competitive atmosphere of the tournament, commended the strong performances delivered by the Egyptian and Kuwaiti teams, and wished them success in their upcoming matches.

Officials from the Egyptian and Kuwaiti delegations also expressed their appreciation for the significant support provided by the State of Qatar to the participating teams, as well as for the high-level organizational efforts that have enabled the tournament to be presented in the best possible manner.

Engineer Hassan Farid, Head of the Egyptian delegation, expressed his gratitude for the extensive support offered by the State of Qatar to the participating teams and for the outstanding organizational efforts that ensured the championship appeared in its finest form.

At the conclusion of the visit, Engineer Hassan Farid, Head of the Egyptian delegation, presented His Excellency with a football signed by all members of the Egyptian national team.
