As part of its diverse sports programs for 2025, the Qatar Sports for All Federation will launch the “Healthy Weight Program for Women” at Al Luqta Park, designated exclusively for women. The program will kick off at 3:00 PM this Saturday, amidst the pleasant winter atmosphere, and will feature fitness, strength, and flexibility exercises. It will also provide participants with medical tests to measure blood pressure and blood sugar levels, in addition to a fitness assessment that includes guidance on improving muscular strength, flexibility, and endurance. All activities will be supervised by specialized female trainers, and the program will run until February 8, with progress evaluations conducted for participants throughout this period.

Abdullah Al-Dosari, Director of the Federation, stated that women’s participation is a top priority, and the Federation is committed to organizing numerous events and activities that align with women’s aspirations to engage in sports and unleash their potential. Through collaborations with various institutions across the country, the Federation aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and enhance overall well-being. These initiatives create a family-friendly atmosphere that encourages mothers and children to engage in physical activities together, fostering regular and sustainable exercise habits under professional guidance. Al-Dosari added that the focus on women-centered sports programs reflects the Federation’s commitment to spreading awareness about the importance of fitness and exercise.
