The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries honored a number of outstanding individuals in the field of youth work for 2025, during the 38th meeting of the Ministers of Youth and Sports, hosted by the State of Kuwait. The event was attended by His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman bin Baddah Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information, Culture, and State Minister for Youth Affairs, His Excellency Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the GCC, and His Excellency Engineer Yasser bin Abdullah Al-Jamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

The ceremony included the honoring of several Qatari figures who have had a significant impact in the field of youth work. Mrs. Maha Al-Rumaihi and Mr. Ahmed Al-Ubaidli were recognized in the category of Joint Working Committees, in appreciation of their efforts to promote Gulf cooperation and joint action.

Additionally, Mr. Nawaf Al-Mudhaikha and Mrs. Sara Al-Baker were honored in the category of Creative and Distinguished Youth, in recognition of their outstanding contributions and creativity in youth fields.

This recognition is part of the ongoing support and encouragement for Gulf youth talents, enhancing the spirit of collaboration and joint work to achieve sustainable development in the youth and sports sectors.
