The Al Furjan field in Al Thumama will host four matches today as part of the second round of the 12th Al Furjan Football Championship, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation. The matches will begin at 5:15 PM with a game between Al Thumama and Al Wakrah. This will be followed by a 6:00 PM match between Al Owaineh and Laabib. The third match, at 6:45 PM, will feature Al Maida against Haloul. The final match of the night will kick off at 7:00 PM between Umm Salal and Khalifa City.

The first-round matches continued last Wednesday with fierce competition. Onaiza defeated Umm Salal 1-0, Al Owaineh also won 1-0 against Al Mamoura, Al Sakhama beat Al Thumama 2-0, and Al Maida dominated Al Hilal with a 4-0 victory.

Sixteen teams are participating in the 12th edition of the Al Furjan Football Championship in Al Thumama, divided into four groups. Group 1 includes Haloul, Al Dhaayen, Al Hilal, and Al Maida. Group 2 consists of Khalifa City, Ain Khaled, Onaiza, and Umm Salal. Group 3 includes Al Wakrah, Al Dhaayen2, Al Sakhama, and Al Thumama. Group 4 features Laabib, Al Nasr, Al Mamoura, and Al Owaineh.

The tournament is held in a single-round group format, with each match consisting of two halves, 15 minutes each, with a 5-minute break. The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage. Each team fields seven players, with at least three Qatari players required on the field at all times.
