Four matches will be held this evening in the quarterfinal stage of the 10th edition of the Qatar Youth Football League 2026, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, on the Aspire pitches, in cooperation with Aspire Zone Foundation. The quarterfinals are expected to witness strong competition tonight among the eight qualified teams, all seeking to progress further in the tournament and reach the decisive advanced rounds.

Quarterfinal action gets underway tonight with the opening match between Lebsair and Al Maida at 6:00pm, followed by a clash between Al Kass Channel and Al Nasr at 7:00 pm. The third match will bring together Rmeilah and Kataraat 8:00pm, before the evening concludes with the encounter between Mesaieed and Laffan at 9:00pm.

The final round of the group stage saw Labseer and Katara top Group One, while Al Kass Channel and Laffan finished first in Group Two. Rumeilah claimed the top spot in Group Three, and Mesaieed and Al Nasr led the standings in Group Four. These results came after intense matches that extended over two months, during which teams delivered solid technical performances and high levels of excitement, reflecting the noticeable development in both team and player performance.

Following the conclusion of the group stage, the organizing committee announced that each team qualified for the quarterfinals would be allowed to register two additional players, provided they had not participated with any other team during the group stage and were not registered with the Qatar Football Association. This decision aims to strengthen the qualified teams, enhance competitiveness, and raise the technical level of the tournament.

Abdullah Al Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, stated that the tournament is progressing in line with its set objectives. He noted that the group stage witnessed outstanding technical levels and great enthusiasm, reflecting the continued success of the Qatar Youth League. He added that the quarterfinals are expected to be even more competitive due to the close technical level of the qualified teams and their strong desire to advance as far as possible in the tournament. He described the quarterfinals as a key milestone amid the rising level of challenge between the teams, expressing expectations that tonight’s matches will feature a higher level of competition compared to previous rounds.

Al Dosari also emphasized the federation’s commitment to providing an ideal competitive environment that enables youth to practice football in an organized manner and gain valuable experience, in line with the federation’s vision of expanding sports participation and promoting sustainable community sport.

It is worth noting that the current edition of the Qatar Youth League features 20 teams and 400 Qatari youth players, making it one of the most prominent community football tournaments organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation as part of its ambitious 2026 calendar, which is the largest in terms of the number of events. The calendar includes around 800 diverse sports activities, aiming to engage various segments of society in sports participation.
