The Ministry of Sports and Youth will host the 2025–2026 Sports and Youth Excellence Awards Ceremony this evening at the Ritz-Carlton Doha under the theme “Excellence Across Generations… Excellence for the Nation.”

The ceremony will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani and will recognize the winners across the sports and youth categories, celebrating outstanding achievements and contributions within these sectors.

The Sports and Youth Excellence Award aims to establish a comprehensive and systematic framework for evaluating efforts and performance in the fields of sport and youth development. Through this initiative, the Ministry seeks to encourage sports clubs, youth centers, and sports organizations to enhance their roles in achieving national priorities and strategic objectives.

The award also supports Qatar’s vision of leadership and excellence in sports and youth development by motivating institutions to adopt best practices, improve performance standards, and develop innovative initiatives that respond to the aspirations and needs of Qatari society.

By recognizing excellence and encouraging continuous improvement, the award contributes to strengthening the sports and youth sectors, promoting institutional development, and supporting the creation of sustainable programs that help build future generations while advancing the nation’s broader development goals.
