In an effort to enhance international partnerships in the field of youth empowerment, a delegation from the Ministry of Sports and Youth visited the United Nations House in Lusail. The delegation included the Youth Affairs Department, the Public Relations and Communications Department, and a group of graduates from various ministry programs.
During the visit, the delegation presented the strategic programs provided by the ministry to support youth and explored ways of cooperation with United Nations organizations. Numerous potential areas for collaboration were discussed, aiming to enhance youth empowerment and exchange experiences to achieve sustainable development.
Ministry officials indicated that this visit comes within the framework of continuous efforts to strengthen international cooperation and provide greater opportunities for youth to benefit from global programs and initiatives.
The attendees also listened to the opportunities and projects offered by 11 organizations operating under the United Nations umbrella. These opportunities aim to empower youth and enhance their capabilities in various fields and levels, including social, economic, health, educational, and humanitarian sectors.
Representatives of the Ministry of Sports and Youth affirmed the alignment of these opportunities with the vision of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the strategic programs it implements for the benefit of youth in the State of Qatar.
