Under the representation of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Qatar Sports for All Federation, in the context of the vision and strategy that aspires to diversify school sports activity, arranged sports and recreational activities for female students. The activity was held outside the school, Umm Al Seneem Park was chosen for it during that tour. It hosted a group of female students, from Juwayriyah Bint Al Harith Primary School and Nusaybah Bint Kaab Primary School, to practice different sporting activities in the open air. This transformation was reflected in the children’s response to the surrounding atmosphere. The program included a visit to Umm Al Seneem Park, which is a very well-known park. Arranging a running race, where the female students took part in the race energetically, and also played different games in the garden square and its facilities in the middle of the joyful atmosphere.
Various activities
In terms of occasional school visits, the Sports for All Federation arranged a visit to Hind Bint Abi Sufyan Secondary School for Girls, which comprised many sports and recreational activities and events, also the provision of advice, health, and general awareness guidelines, including diabetes awareness, in addition to the importance of exercising. The tours continued, with another visit to the “Taiba Primary School for Girls”, during which many simple and stimulating exercises were held to raise physical fitness, in addition to some entertainment segments.
Cooperation between the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
The Qatar Sports for All Federation is willing to organize many sports and recreational events, during the continuous school visits, which comprise all regions of the country, and fall within the cooperation and coordination agenda, between the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, to show the importance of practicing sports for students and to activate the ministry’s vision about active and reliable young people with a national sense, and a society that practices sports.
