The Social and Sports Activities Support Fund (Daam) announced the signing of a financing agreement with the Ministry of Sports and Youth to support the sixth edition of the “Samelah” race in 2024. Under this agreement, the fund will provide the necessary financing for organizing this year’s event and offering prizes to participants, with a total value exceeding 3 million Qatari riyals. The race will take place from December 5 to 7, covering a distance of 200 kilometers, and will feature various activities such as swimming, running, shooting, kayaking, and mountain biking. This edition is expected to see a large number of participants.

In this context, Mr. Hassan Youssef Al-Obaidly, Director of Programs at the Social and Sports Activities Support Fund (Daam), stated that the fund’s support for the sixth edition of the Samelah race continues the success achieved by previous editions.

Meanwhile, Mr. Azzam Al-Mannai, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Samelah Race, expressed his happiness with the signing of the 2024 Samelah Race financing agreement and the renewed support from the Social and Sports Activities Support Fund.
