The fourth round of the group stage of the tenth edition of the Qatar Youth Football League 2026 kicks off this evening at Aspire pitches. The tournament is organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation in affiliation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in partnership with Aspire Zone Foundation. The round features four matches taking place at a decisive stage, as the group phase nears its conclusion and competition intensifies for qualification spots to the knockout rounds.

Tonight’s fixtures include several strong matchups. Al Shamal face Fareej Al Zaeem in the opening match at 6:00 p.m., followed by Katara vs. Lebsair at 7:00 p.m. At 8:00 p.m., Al Kass Channel meet Al Wakrah, while the evening concludes with the clash between Laffan and Al Owaineh at 9:00 p.m. These encounters are expected to be highly competitive, as teams look to boost their chances of advancing.

The round continues tomorrow, Monday, with four additional matches: Izghawa vs. Al Musayid, Al Maida vs. Rmeilah, Al Hamlah vs. Mesaieed, and finally Aspire vs. Al Nassr. These anticipated encounters further highlight the heated atmosphere of the tournament as it enters its decisive stages.

The third round witnessed exciting matches and a high scoring rate, confirming the rising technical level of the teams and the fierce battle for the top of each group. In Group One, Labseer lead the standings with 6 points, ahead of Al Wakrah in second place on the same number of points. Fareej Al Zaeem sit third with 3 points, while Ishat and Al Shamal remain at the bottom without points. In Group Two, Al Kass Channel continued their strong performances to top the group with 6 points, while Al Khor, Laffan, and Al Wakrah are tied with 3 points each. Al Owaineh are bottom of the group without points. Group Three saw Al Maida take the lead with 6 points, followed by Rmeilah with 4 points, Al Musayid in third with 3 points, Azghawa fourth with 1 point, and Khalifa City at the bottom with no points. In Group Four, Aspire dominate the top with 6 points, followed by Al Nassr with 4 points. Mesaieed are third with 3 points, Al Hamlah fourth with 1 point, while Mushairib remain at the bottom without points.

Abdullah Al Dossari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, said that the fourth round represents a crucial phase in the Qatar Youth League, noting that the competition has entered a decisive stage with the knockout rounds approaching and the race for qualification intensifying. He emphasized that the league has become an important platform for discovering and developing young talents and giving them the opportunity to showcase their abilities.

He added that the tournament is not limited to competition alone, but also promotes a culture of sports participation among youth, stressing that the strong turnout and steadily improving performances reflect the success of the federation’s vision in promoting community sports and encouraging young people to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle.

The current (tenth) edition of the Qatar Youth League features 20 teams, comprising around 400 amateur players, with matches attracting a large number of football fans and enthusiasts.
