The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers confirmed that the State of Qatar continues to strengthen its institutional and developmental framework through initiatives aligned with national development priorities. These efforts focus on empowering national talents, accelerating digital transformation, enhancing the role of youth in development, and promoting food security along with sustainable urban planning.

These directions represent a practical outcome of the Council of Ministers’ resolutions over the past year, aimed at achieving sustainable development within a modern legislative and executive framework.

H.E. Dr. Ali bin Saeed Al-Marri, Minister of Labor, noted that last year’s sessions of the Council of Ministers introduced several decisions designed to build a skilled national workforce—ready for the future, capable of meeting labor market demands, and contributing to empowering Qatari competencies. He stressed that these steps help create a dynamic business environment that supports sustainable economic growth, while reinforcing the Ministry’s mission of supporting citizens and enhancing competitiveness.

H.E. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, affirmed that the Ministry is moving forward with efforts to advance Qatar’s digital transformation journey. Over the past year, the Council of Ministers issued a number of resolutions to strengthen ICT infrastructure, expand digital capabilities, and keep pace with global progress in artificial intelligence. These measures aim to support Qatar’s ambition of building a sustainable digital economy and positioning the country as a regional hub for innovation and modern technologies.

H.E. Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth, emphasized that the decisions of the Council of Ministers reflect Qatar’s strong commitment to empowering young people, developing their skills, and engaging them across various paths of sustainable development. He underlined the role of sports in promoting positive values, building a cohesive and active society, and supporting the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030.

H.E. Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, highlighted that the Council of Ministers has ensured the legislative framework keeps pace with the requirements of sustainable development. He noted the government’s commitment to transparency and the rule of law, while also driving reforms that strengthen institutional capacity to face future challenges.

H.E. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, Minister of Municipality, explained that under its strategic plan, the Ministry continues to prioritize food security, sustainability, and comprehensive urban development. He confirmed that last year’s Council of Ministers sessions resulted in several measures supporting these goals, in line with the Third National Development Strategy, which seeks to ensure a high quality of life for the population of Qatar.
