Oxygen Park hosted the fourth and final round of the “Sports for All” Summer Running Races series. The sandy course, held last Friday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., featured a running race organized by the Sports for All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. A diverse group of Qatari and resident runners participated in the event, with an enthusiastic audience in attendance. A total of 231 participants from various age groups competed, including 38 children aged 3 to 6 in the 950-meter race. Other categories included ages 7 to 8, ages 9 to 10, youths from 13 to 16, adults from 17 to 39, and the Masters category for men and women aged over 40.

In the women’s 5 km race, 17 participants competed. Jelena Bijovic won the Masters category for those over 40, while Rebecca Lisland took first place in the Open category for ages 17 to 39. In the 2.5 km race, Linda Floor won the Masters category for those over 40, and Nahar Kamal claimed the top spot in the Open category for ages 17 to 39. In the intermediate category, Abha Leonard finished first, while Noor Khan dominated the Beginners 1 category (ages 7 to 8). Chloe Angel won first place in Beginners 2 (ages 9 to 10), and Elin Salem triumphed in the Junior category (ages 11 to 12).

The men’s competition also saw strong participation. In the 5 km race, Chris Musongo won the Masters category for those over 40, while Jardi Heitman took first place in the Open category. Brelenam Elinier topped the intermediate category (ages 13 to 16) in the 2.5 km race, while Guillaume Elinier won the Masters category (over 40). Ali Al-Marri claimed first place in the Open category (ages 17 to 39).

Khaled Hamad Al-Marri won first place in the Beginners 1 category, while Hussain Al-Alawi finished first in Beginners 2. In the Junior category (ages 11 to 12), Hussain Al-Khoumisti secured first place.
