The fourth and final edition of the “Ramadan Running Race Series” was concluded, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The event took place on the mountain biking track in Education City, in collaboration with Qatar Foundation. The race saw widespread participation from 465 runners, both male and female, aged 17 and above, who competed in the race. The event embodies the ongoing commitment of “Sports for All” to promote the culture of community sports and reflects the growing passion for sports in a motivating environment that encourages challenges and fosters a healthy and active lifestyle.
The series included races for all segments of the community, including children, women, and men. The race distances for children were 800 meters, for women 2.5 km, and for men 2.5 km, in addition to the open category race.
Abdullah Al-Dosari, the Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, explained that the fourth edition of the Ramadan running race series in Education City achieved exceptional success, thanks to the large turnout from all age groups and wide participation. He emphasized that the success is primarily attributed to the close collaboration with Qatar Foundation and the continuous support from Education City, which provided an ideal environment that gave participants the opportunity to experience a unique sporting event. Al-Dosari pointed out that this event highlights the importance of strategic partnerships and cooperation between the Qatar Sports for All Federation and Education City, working together to promote and spread the culture of sports.
