The “Sports for All Ramadan Tournaments” for table tennis, baby foot, and billiards, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation for the employees of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, witnessed intense competition during the final matches of all three tournaments on its concluding day. After the event, Mr. Issa Al-Harami, Director of the Sports Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, honored the first and second-place winners with colored medals, recognizing and celebrating their outstanding performance and active participation in the sports tournaments, which were part of the events for the holy month. The calendar of events included 66 activities and various sports tournaments organized by the federation in collaboration with several entities.
The table tennis tournament results were as follows:
- Mr. Gaith Al-Naimi from the Sports Affairs Department won first place, successfully defending the title he earned last year after delivering an outstanding performance.
- Mr. Alaa Najarawi, a coach at the Qatar Sports for All Federation, took second place after an intense final match. Both players showed determination to win, but Al-Naimi managed to clinch victory in record time, confirming his superiority and claiming the title deservedly.
The Ramadan “Sports for All” baby foot tournament was highly exciting, with competitors showcasing impressive levels of skill throughout the tournament stages. In the end:
- Mr. Gaith Al-Naimi, the table tennis champion, won first place in baby foot as well, adding the baby foot title to his table tennis victory. His excellent performance demonstrated his control over the game.
- Elias Moadeb from the Qatar Sports for All Federation secured second place after a strong final match, further intensifying the competition.
In the billiards competition:
- Mr. Bilal Sabha from the IT Department won first place, defeating Mohamed Bour from the Qatar Sports for All Federation, who took second place.
After the winners were crowned, Mr. Issa Al-Harami stated that the Ramadan “Sports for All” tournaments provide an ideal opportunity to promote sportsmanship and spread the culture of physical activity among employees, supporting both physical and mental health. He noted that the tournaments displayed good levels of competition and sportsmanship, reflecting the success of the Qatar Sports for All Federation’s vision and its efforts to create a stimulating and enjoyable sports environment for everyone, while working to further spread the culture of sports.
Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari added that all departments within the ministry were eager to participate in the “Sports for All” billiards, table tennis, and baby foot tournaments. He expressed his happiness at the successful achievement of the tournament’s goals through the wide participation and competition. Al-Dosari emphasized that the federation is committed to organizing a variety of tournaments and sports events throughout the holy month.
