The curtain fell on the activities of the first edition of the Beach Sports Festival 2025, held for the first time in Qatar amid an atmosphere full of excitement and enthusiasm, with participation exceeding 200 players from various age groups. The festival witnessed a remarkable public turnout, confirming the growing passion for beach sports in Qatar and the region. The event was organized by Aspire Foundation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Qatar Sports for All Federation, with participation from the football, volleyball, and tennis federations.
Over the course of seven days, players competed in three main tournaments held on adjacent specially prepared beach courts. The tournaments included beach volleyball, beach football, and beach tennis. This unique experience received widespread engagement from the audience, who enjoyed thrilling matches and high-level athletic skills.
The festival was distinguished by combining competitive sports with entertaining atmospheres. Activities were spread across several areas designated for the public and families, providing recreational activities and high-quality service facilities, making the festival a preferred destination for all family members throughout its duration.

Beach Tennis: The Paddle Inn team was honored for winning first place, while the Al Wakrah Paddle team came second.

Beach Volleyball: The Police Union team was crowned first, with Al Nasr team finishing second.

Beach Football: The Doha Youth team claimed the championship title, and the Doha Union team secured second place.

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Hassan, Executive Director of Events and Facilities, expressed great happiness with the remarkable success of the first edition of the Beach Sports Festival, reflecting Aspire Zone Foundation’s goal of making sports a way of life. He noted that the festival was not just a sports competition but a comprehensive social and entertainment experience. He added pride in the fact that this festival is the first of its kind to combine three beach sports simultaneously on three adjacent sandy courts, promising the audience that future editions will be even more distinguished and expansive.
Meanwhile, Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, expressed his happiness with the festival’s success and the participation of Qatari youth and residents. He said the tournament received great enthusiasm and wide participation from all age groups, embodying the Qatar Sports for All Federation’s vision to promote a healthy lifestyle and spread the culture of sports among all segments of society.
The closing ceremony of the Beach Sports Festival was marked by a festive atmosphere, with notable official and public attendance. The champions of the three tournaments were crowned amid musical performances that added a joyful and proud atmosphere celebrating sporting achievements.
