As part of the activities of the 2025 Summer Camp “Our Summer for Our Youth,” and under the supervision of the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Youth Committee at Al-Khor Sports Club organized, in cooperation with the Community Police Department of the Ministry of Interior, a workshop on promoting the concept of community policing.

The workshop was presented by Major Jarallah Salem Al-Nabit, Head of the Initiatives and Partnerships Department, and First Lieutenant Abdulaziz Issa Al-Mohannadi, Community Initiatives Officer.

The workshop addressed several key awareness topics for youth, including the concept, systems, strategies, and goals of community policing. It also emphasized strengthening the relationship with community members and institutions, working to instill a culture of crime prevention, limiting its spread, and promoting public safety and security.

The session also included various advice and awareness guidelines. At the end of the event, Hamad Al-Mohannadi, Activities Supervisor and Youth Programs Representative, honored the officials from the Community Police Department.
