The “Summer for All” swimming program for children aged 7 to 12 continues to thrive, currently in its second week. The program launched in the clubs of Al-Arabi, Al-Wakrah, and Al-Shamal, with strong participation and positive family engagement, as parents are keen to encourage their children to learn swimming and gain new and enjoyable experiences during the summer break.

The swimming lessons are part of the “Summer for All 2025” schedule, organized by the Qatar Sports For All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The program is held in cooperation with over 27 ministries, institutions, and organizations, and aims to develop children’s skills and promote healthy lifestyles within the community.

At Al-Arabi Sports Club, lessons continue under professional supervision from Sunday to Wednesday, with boys’ classes held from 3 PM to 4 PM, and girls’ classes from 9 AM to 10 AM on Saturdays and Mondays. These sessions provide a safe, private, and motivating environment, reflecting strong parental support and social interaction that promote a culture of sports and positive behavior.

The program spans multiple locations, including Al-Wakrah Sports Club, which offers training for boys from 3 PM to 4 PM. The sessions, launched last Saturday, will continue until August 14. The strong turnout highlights the community’s enthusiasm to equip children with swimming skills and enjoy a meaningful summer.

In Al-Shamal, sessions began last Sunday, with boys attending from 4 PM to 5 PM. A special session on Tuesday evening also witnessed high attendance and enthusiasm.

The “Summer for All – Swimming” program focuses not only on teaching basic swimming techniques but also on offering an ideal summer experience that enables children to explore their physical potential in a safe and enriching environment. Swimming, as one of the most inclusive and beneficial sports, helps build muscle strength, improve overall health, and promote physical fitness.

The program continues for six weeks in various clubs, with designated times for boys and girls from Sunday to Thursday every week, aiming to spread the culture of sports and encourage its practice across all locations and age groups.
