The third edition of the Ikbis 2025 Beach Volleyball Championship, which was held at the Old Doha Port, concluded with the participation of 12 teams distributed across four groups. The Mangosteen team won the third edition after defeating the Al-Murqab team in the final with two straight sets. The first set was highly competitive, with a tie at 21-21, but Mangosteen managed to win it 23-21. In the second set, Mangosteen took control and won 21-12 to secure the victory and claim the championship title, earning the gold medals and the third edition’s trophy.

In the third-place play-off, the “Many” team won 2-0, overcoming the “City of Khalifa” team with scores of 21-12 and 21-10 to finish in third place. After the final match, the organizing committee honored the winners, the referees who managed the matches, and the players who earned individual titles, in addition to distributing cash prizes totaling 100,000 Qatari Riyals. The champion received 50,000 Qatari Riyals, the runner-up received 30,000 Qatari Riyals, and the third place team got 20,000 Qatari Riyals, along with various prizes for the fans.

Faisal Al-Otaibi, the head of the organizing committee, praised the great success of the third edition, which took place at the Old Doha Port from March 6-14. He highlighted the beauty of the venue and the exceptional atmosphere surrounding the championship, especially with the large audience who followed the competition from the first day. He also mentioned that the technical level of the teams was impressive, with strong matches and increasing competition in the knockout rounds.

Al-Otaibi added that the championship included various accompanying activities throughout the days, with the participation of organizing entities. He thanked all participants and those who worked on the event. He also expressed his appreciation to the sponsors who contributed to the success of the event with their continuous support.

He confirmed that the third edition was exceptional, exceeding expectations, and the closing ceremony was magnificent, setting the stage for further development and brilliance in future editions.
