Barzan Youth Center participated in the activities of the Cultural Council organized by the Ehsan Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care, held at the Elderly Council in the Cultural Village Katara. The participation comes as part of the center’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community partnerships, reinforce values of appreciation and respect for senior citizens, and enhance communication between generations.

This participation aligns with the center’s mission to support national initiatives that highlight the importance of senior citizens and benefit from their experiences and knowledge. The Cultural Council included discussion sessions, educational lectures, and social and recreational activities that contributed to strengthening connections among different segments of society and promoting the transfer of experiences and values between generations.

During the event, the Barzan Youth Center delegation learned about the programs and activities offered by the council and participated in direct discussions with senior citizens in an atmosphere of familiarity and mutual respect. This reflected the importance of such initiatives in preserving community heritage and strengthening social cohesion.

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Thani, Vice President of Barzan Youth Center, confirmed that the center’s participation in the Cultural Council stems from its social responsibility and commitment to building effective partnerships with national institutions, particularly the Ehsan Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care.

He highlighted that senior citizens represent an important source of wisdom and experience, and benefiting from their knowledge is a key pillar in building a cohesive and balanced society.

He added that Barzan Youth Center places great importance on initiatives that promote respect and appreciation for senior citizens and expand interaction between youth and previous generations, in a way that supports national identity and preserves social heritage.

He praised the outstanding efforts of the Ehsan Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care in organizing the Cultural Council and the quality programs it provides that enrich cultural and social engagement. He also expressed Barzan Youth Center’s aspiration to continue cooperation and launch further joint initiatives that serve the community and strengthen values of solidarity and unity among its members.
