Barzan Youth Center, a partner of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, organized a distinguished Gulf sports event titled the “Gulf Trails Challenge” in celebration of Gulf Youth Day under the slogan “One Promising Gulf Youth.” The event witnessed broad participation from young people representing the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), in an atmosphere that reflected the spirit of brotherhood, solidarity, and Gulf unity.

The event featured enthusiastic competition among representatives of the six GCC countries through a series of diverse sports stations and challenges that tested physical fitness, speed, obstacle-navigation skills, and the ability to achieve the fastest times, all within an environment characterized by sportsmanship and fair competition.

The final results saw the State of Qatar claim first place, followed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in second place, while the Sultanate of Oman secured third place.

His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Thani, Vice Chairman of Barzan Youth Center, affirmed that the event aligns with the Center’s vision of empowering youth and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among the peoples of the GCC countries. He noted that Gulf Youth Day represents an important occasion to celebrate the capabilities of young people and highlight their pivotal role in shaping the future.
