The Aspire Zone Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Qatar Sports for All Federation, and the Football, Volleyball, and Tennis Federations, launches today the Aspire Festival of Beach Sports 2025. The festival features a distinguished participation from various sports teams competing in three beach sports: beach soccer, beach volleyball, and beach tennis — the latter being introduced to the competition for the first time. Elite male athletes aged 18 and above will compete from Sunday through the following Saturday on the sandy courts at Aspire Park.

Today’s schedule includes three beach soccer matches: the first match will kick off at 6:20 PM between Al Shahania and Al Nasr, followed by a match at 7:27 PM between Shabab Al Doha and Al Awaina, and the day will conclude with a game between Laabib and Itihad Al Doha.

The tournament draw divided the nine participating teams in the beach soccer competition into three groups. Group 1 consists of Al Shahania, Al Nasr, and Hazm Al Markhiya. Group 2 includes Shabab Al Doha, Al Awaina, and Tsunami. Group 3 features Laabib, Itihad Al Doha, and Madinat Khalifa. Concurrently with the soccer matches, beach volleyball games will also take place, while Sunday and Monday are reserved for training sessions for the participating beach tennis teams.

Ahmed Mohamed Al Hassan, Executive Director of Facilities and Events at Aspire, expressed his happiness with the wide participation, highlighting that this edition of the festival embodies Aspire’s vision as a comprehensive sports center dedicated to supporting both community and specialized sports through organizing distinguished tournaments.

Abdullah Al Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, emphasized that the tournament represents a vibrant sports festival incorporating many diverse activities and events, thereby enhancing the culture of sports practice within the community and broadening the base of community participation among the youth.
