As part of ongoing efforts to promote a sports culture and active lifestyle within the community, Aspire Zone Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Qatar Sports for All Federation, announced the launch of the Aspire Beach Sports Festival, to be held from April 20 to April 26, 2025, at Aspire Park.

The announcement was made during a press conference held yesterday, Sunday, attended by several officials from both Aspire and the federation, where details of the upcoming sports event were revealed.

The festival will feature three main beach sports: beach soccer, beach volleyball, and beach tennis. Matches will take place daily from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with participation from male athletes and teams aged 18 and above, under the supervision of the respective sports federations.

On this occasion, Ahmed Mohamed Al Hassan, Executive Director of Facilities and Events, said:

“The Aspire Beach Sports Festival embodies the foundation’s vision to be an integrated sports center that enhances the presence of both community and specialized sports. Through this initiative, we aim to provide sports enthusiasts with a unique experience combining competition, entertainment, and a healthy lifestyle, within a well-organized and high-quality environment that leverages Aspire’s advanced infrastructure.”

Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Dosari, representing the Ministry of Sports and Youth and Executive Director of Qatar Sports for All Federation, praised the partnership with Aspire Sports City for expanding community participation in such tournaments aimed at Qatari youth and residents. He emphasized that collaboration with Aspire helps broaden community engagement and operate sports facilities, aligned with the ministry’s vision to make sport a lifestyle and the federation’s plan under the ministry’s umbrella to develop quality events that serve national goals.

Sports events at the festival include:

  • Beach Soccer: Supervised by the Qatar Football Association

  • Beach Volleyball: Supervised by the Qatar Volleyball Association

  • Beach Tennis: Supervised by the Qatar Tennis and Squash Federation
