“Summer Sports for All 2025” Program Kicks Off This Morning

The “Summer Sports for All 2025” program, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, officially begins this morning. The program involves participation from 27 government ministries, agencies, and community organizations, and will take place across various sports halls, youth centers, and public parks. The summer program will run until August 7th.

Today’s activities kick off with the children’s camp at Lusail Sports Hall, alongside swimming training sessions at Al Arabi Club. The program aims to engage various age groups in a wide range of sports activities including fitness training, self-defense (Muay Thai), chess, as well as entertainment activities for children. It also includes camps accompanied by awareness programs and swimming lessons. The program will culminate in six different tournaments designed to promote competition and sportsmanship.

The children’s camp, for boys and girls aged 6 to 11, is held at Lusail Sports Hall for the second time following a successful run last year. It runs from 9 AM to 1 PM for six weeks, divided into three sessions.

Abdullah Al Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, explained that the camp offers a mix of sports, educational, and religious programs to emphasize the importance of healthy nutrition, fitness training, football, and self-defense. It also includes educational workshops aimed at developing skills and promoting positive behavior.
