The youth division of Al-Rayyan Club celebrated International Youth Day as part of the club’s summer activities under the supervision of the Youth Affairs Department of the Ministry of Sports and Youth. During the event, the importance of the day was highlighted, along with a reminder of the role of youth and the obligations of countries towards them, considering them the pillars of nations and the foundation of their cultural and social projects. Additionally, it was emphasized that youth are the most in need of attention due to the sensitive stage they are in, full of energy that, if properly harnessed, could contribute to the advancement of nations.

The United Nations General Assembly has designated International Youth Day as an annual celebration of the role of young women and men as essential partners in change, and as an opportunity to raise awareness of the challenges and problems facing the world’s youth. A large number of participants attended the event, who confirmed they greatly benefited from the workshop, the extensive explanation, and the emphasis on the importance and role of youth. Certificates of appreciation were also distributed to them for their successful participation in the event.

For his part, Faisal Al-Hammadi, the head of the youth division at Al-Rayyan Club, emphasized the importance of this event and the participation of the youth division of Al-Rayyan Club, which aligns with all activities related to various fields. This was to address many important topics that Al-Rayyan Club aims to convey to all segments of society.
