Under the supervision of the Youth Centers and Organizations Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Youth Committee of Al Khor Sports Club celebrated Arab Youth Day 2026 in collaboration with Al Dhakhira and Al Kaaban Youth Center and Simaisma and Al Daayen Youth Center, with the participation of a group of young people from across the Arab region. The event coincided with the country’s annual celebration of Arab Youth Day, observed on 5 July each year.

The celebration was organized in line with the Ministry’s youth strategy and took place at Al Dhakhira Youth Center. It featured a panel discussion titled “Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Supporting Volunteer Work and Strengthening Social Responsibility Among Youth,” presented by trainer Abdullah Ibrahim Al Muhannadi.

The session explored a range of topics relevant to young people, creating an interactive platform for exchanging ideas and sharing experiences. Participants agreed on the importance of investing in youth across Arab societies, emphasizing that young people are the driving force behind national progress, stability, and sustainable development.

Commenting on the event, Hamad Al Muhannadi, Head of the Youth Committee, said the workshop reflects the club’s and youth centers’ commitment to keeping pace with digital transformation while promoting knowledge-based economies and artificial intelligence among young people. He noted that these efforts are aligned with Qatar’s vision of developing a technologically aware generation that actively contributes to society.
