Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Al-Dana Girls Center organized three training courses in collaboration with the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies as part of the “Saas for Youth Initiatives” program. The courses included operational plans, strategic planning, and crisis management.

 

Operational Plans

The course on operational plans was presented by Dr. Alhan Barakat, offering a detailed explanation of how to build an operational plan, set goals, and outline objectives, along with practical applications on how to set indicators.

 

Practical Courses

Dr. Ahmed Al-Mawari presented the strategic planning course, which covered key points on how to build a vision, prepare a mission statement, and formulate objectives. It also included practical applications to equip trainees with skills and techniques specific to strategic planning.

 

Crisis Management

Dr. Mona Babti concluded the workshops with a session on “Crisis Management,” discussing the nature of crisis management, the strategies used in managing crises, and how to prepare proactive plans to mitigate problems and negative outcomes.

 

Dr. Ahmed Al-Mawari, Director of the Center of Excellence at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, praised the ongoing cooperation and partnership between Al-Dana Girls Center and the Center of Excellence, noting that this collaboration has positive impacts on training, development, and achieving strategic aspirations.
