The Youth Committee at Al Arabi Sports Club organized a special program to mark International Youth Day through the Leaders’ Camp themed “Ya Watani Ha Ana Dha” (My Homeland, Here I Am). The event witnessed wide participation and included a series of diverse activities, such as workshops on community leadership in collaboration with Tamouh for Community Development, as well as cultural and recreational programs in partnership with Eid Cultural Center.

Mr. Saleh Al-Bakri, Head of the Youth Committee at Al Arabi Sports Club, explained that the camp focused on empowering young people with leadership skills, enhancing their active role in society, and reinforcing their sense of responsibility. He pointed out that the workshops, presented by Nabil Al-Sulaiti, trainer at Tamouh for Community Development, centered on the concept of community leadership, instilling in youth the deeper qualities of true leadership, and teaching them how to transform positive ideas into practical initiatives that contribute to community development.

Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Hamdan, Deputy Executive Director of Eid Cultural Center, highlighted the role of cultural and recreational programs in instilling values of honesty, respect, cooperation, and teamwork in an engaging way, stressing that entertainment can also serve as a powerful tool to promote noble values and inspire youth to harness their talents for the greater good.

The event reflected Al Arabi Club’s vision of raising a conscious generation capable of taking responsibility, leading with integrity, and contributing effectively to the nation’s progress and stability.
