Under the auspices of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Al-Arabi Sports Club and Doha Bank signed an agreement to sponsor Al-Arabi Sports Club in a ceremony held for this purpose at Al-Thumama Stadium on Sunday, July 7, 2024. The event was attended by the CEO of Doha Bank Group, Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Fahd Al Thani, and the President of Al-Arabi Sports Club, Sheikh Tamim bin Fahd Al Thani. The agreement includes sponsorship for four years for the club’s football, basketball, volleyball, and handball teams, which is one of the oldest sports clubs in Qatar.

In this regard, the CEO of Doha Bank Group, Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Fahd Al Thani, stated that the sponsorship agreement underscores Doha Bank’s commitment to supporting the ongoing success of Al-Arabi Sports Club, which has achieved many sports accomplishments. For his part, the President of Al-Arabi Sports Club, Sheikh Tamim bin Fahd Al Thani, expressed his gratitude for Doha Bank’s support and sponsorship of the club’s various sports teams. He stated that this would help the club continue its role in attracting, developing, and nurturing the best national sports talents, which will advance Qatari sports on the regional and global levels.
