The Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, welcomed yesterday at Kuwait International Airport the Qatari Minister of Sports and Youth, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, during his official visit to the country. Minister Al-Mutairi stated in a press briefing following the reception that this visit embodies the historical bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and aims to enhance joint efforts and cooperation in the fields of sports and youth.

He also mentioned that this visit is part of a series of ongoing brotherly visits between the two countries, aimed at activating partnership, cooperation, and integration in these vital and important sectors. He expressed his hope that the visit would yield positive results that benefit the youth and athletes in both countries.

Minister Al-Mutairi affirmed that Kuwaiti-Qatari relations are strong and deeply rooted under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, may God protect them. He emphasized the importance of working according to the directives of the political leadership to further develop and strengthen the distinguished relations with the brotherly nation.
