Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Youth Committee at Al Khor Sports Club organized a workshop on the “Importance of Agriculture” as part of the 2025 summer camp activities. The workshop was presented by a group of young Qataris, led by Ali Nasser Shbeeb Al Muraihi. It introduced the summer camp participants to information about the importance of agriculture and highlighted the role of agriculture in achieving food security and environmental sustainability in the State of Qatar. Al Muraihi encouraged the participants to take an interest in agriculture and promoted the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices.

Additionally, Bestana, a company specializing in home gardening supplies, participated in delivering the workshop to showcase the importance of home gardening and its numerous benefits to society.

Meanwhile, Hamad Ahmed Al-Mohannadi, the youth activities supervisor at the club, affirmed that hosting the workshop by the young Qatari Ali Nasser Al Muraihi reflects Al Khor Club’s ongoing commitment to providing opportunities for Qatari youth to implement their initiatives, develop their skills, support their abilities, and motivate their energies.
