The final round of the “Sports for All” running races for women and girls took place at the Education City Stadium track, with 205 participants. Abdullah Al-Dosari, the Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, confirmed that the race marked a significant event in the series of women’s sports activities organized in collaboration with Qatar Foundation. The goal is to provide a sports environment that meets women’s aspirations and enhances their participation in community events. Al-Dosari pointed out that the “Sports for All” running races for women have been distinguished by high participation and attendance, reflecting the positive impact of these events in promoting sports culture among women. He emphasized that these races not only promote physical activity but also provide women with a comprehensive platform to showcase their athletic abilities. Furthermore, organizing these events strengthens the strategic partnership with Qatar Foundation, which is a cornerstone in the success of such initiatives, contributing to opening new avenues for expanding women’s participation in sports.

In the 10-minute race, the results were as follows:

  • Nof Al-Muftah topped the intermediate category,
  • Fatima Al-Obeidi came in second,
  • Sheikha Al-Hetami secured third place. In the youth category, Amelia Donnell came first, followed by Naseeba Boukbash, with Kadi Al-Ibrahim in third place. In the beginners’ category, Jawhara Al-Saadi came in first, Fatima Al-Harbi came second, and Hessa Al-Shammari finished third.

In the 15-minute race:

  • Samar Mansouri finished first in the open category, followed by Hessa Al-Kuwari in second place, and Bashayer Al-Shaabi in third.
  • In the masters category, the first place went to Hamda Al-Mohannadi, with Khalood Aqeel in second, and Reem Al-Muftah in third.
  • In the over-40 category, Samah Hammoudi took the first place.

The 30-minute race results were:

  • Diane Gardos finished first in the open category, followed by Asil Ismail in second, and Fayza Fayrouz in third.
  • In the masters category, Krisabel Relambagos secured first place, with Aya Suleiman in second, and Abeer Al-Jaidi in third.
  • Agneska Siudmak led the over-40 category.

The 5-minute race for younger girls concluded with:

  • Maya Elias taking the first place, followed by Dana Zayara in second, and Al-Jazi Al-Harbi in third.
