The 3rd edition of the Qatar International Pylon Racing Championship (Desert Falcons) concluded, having been held under the patronage of the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Support Fund, with broad participation that reflected the growing stature of the State of Qatar as a leading destination for hosting international championships in air sports and radio-controlled sports.
The championship saw the participation of 37 competitors representing 19 countries from around the world, in a highly competitive atmosphere characterized by professionalism and technical precision, with full adherence to the standards approved by the International Aeronautical Federation, whether in terms of organization, officiating, or security and safety procedures.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Fahad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Radio-Controlled Sports Club, affirmed that the success achieved by the championship in its third edition reflects the advanced professional level reached by radio-controlled aviation sports in the State of Qatar. He praised the quality of officiating and the strict commitment to implementing international security and safety standards, which provided a fair and safe competitive environment for all participants.
